Due to Covid 19 there will be a few important and necessary changes to meet our governing body guidelines. This is to ensure we keep health and safety our top priority.
What we are doing
We have carried out a risk assessment at each one of our clinics in order to adhere to government guidelines and to ensure your health and safety is not compromised. Please see below what’s changed.
Prior to your Appointment
Attached to your appointment confirmation is a COVID 19 screening questionnaire which must be completed honestly, at the latest, the day before your appointment is due. This will help us to make sure you are clinically fit to attend your appointment. Feel free to contact us if you need any assistance with completing the form. If you do not send the completed form back within the required time, the practitioner has the right to refuse you treatment.
Appointment Times
Appointment times may look a little strange at first. This measure has been put in place to avoid the cross- over of clients in the reception area. Can we ask that you do not arrive for your appointment too early? Your appointment time is of great importance. This time will be given to you to allow the practitioners to carry out optimum cleaning within their treatment space and reception area.
Personal Protection Equipment
We may look slightly different when you arrive for your appointment. We will be wearing advised PPE which will include a face mask, apron and glasses. You are welcome to wear your own face mask (fabric or disposable) when entering the clinic and throughout your treatment with us. If you do not have one or you forget to bring one, we have disposable masks you can purchase for £0.50p each. This is, however, not a legal requirement.
Payment Options
New regulations now suggest we take minimal cash payments. Therefore, we have decided to accept card payments only to encourage minimal contact.
We have put all these measures in place to ensure we provide the best care possible in the safest environment.
Breakdown of the new Rules and Regulations of the Clinic:
- Use sanitiser provided before you enter and when you leave the clinic.
- Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment. If you require an interpreter or chaperone, please discuss this with us prior to your appointment.
- Do not arrive too early for your appointment.
- Please shower before your appointment and wear clean clothes.
- Where possible, please keep 1-2 metres distance.
In line with Government guidelines, please do not enter if any of the following symptoms apply to you:
- Current fever-like symptoms
- New persistent cough
- A temperature
- You have had any of the above symptoms within the last 14 days
- A member of your household has developed symptoms within the last 14 days
Your practitioner will let you in shortly before your appointment. When leaving the clinic please allow your practitioner to open the door for you, this is to encourage minimal contact.
At this stage, if you are clinically vulnerable or shielding it would be advisable, for your own safety, to abide by the Government guidelines and not attend the clinic at all.
We appreciate your co-operation and we look forward to seeing you soon.
