Injury Active Clinic is an exciting sports injury clinic based at Crossfit Cambridgeshire which is ready to expand its team and continue building as a business. The new clinic will be based in Bishops Stortford at Lift Off Crossfit. Lift Off Crossfit is a strength and conditioning facility opening July 26th (please feel free to come along to our opening day). We have two clinics upstairs and a rehab floor space. Furthermore we will have access to the equipment down stairs.

The clinic is located at Lift Off Crossfit, Unit 1, Twyford industrial estate, Bishops Stortford. Lift Off Crossfit is a leading strength and conditioning facility. They will be a proactive fitness provider for the local community in Bishops Stortford and possess similar business values to ourselves. They understand how valuable Injury Active Clinic are to their business and their members and have pledged their ongoing support and assistance. You will work from a newly furnished treatment room. All of the necessary clinic equipment, marketing and training will be provided to enable you to successfully build your business at the clinic. We will guarantee you our full and ongoing support.

- Duties and responsibility
As a therapist with Injury Active Clinic your basic primary responsibilities will be the examination, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries utilising all of your therapeutic skills and knowledge. Work, where appropriate, in partnership with other healthcare professionals, managers, coaches and patients and make appropriate referrals when necessary. We are looking for a full time therapist to run the clinic whilst joining in on CPD training, promotions, sales drives and meetings.
Prior to running the clinic, we would like you to attend 2 full weeks training and observation in order for you to reach the clinical standard required to work alone in a busy clinic and to understand and learn our processes and procedures. You will receive detailed training on all aspects of clinic administration and be guided through our clinic operating procedures. We will focus on the consultation process, clinical assessments, booking and administration on the clinic software management system etc.
It is vital we grow together as a business and as individual therapists and this is why we put a large emphasis on CPD. We will aim to involve you in all forms of CPD that will range from courses, lectures, workshops and conferences. Furthermore we want to hold regular training sessions ‘in house’ and encourage our therapists to take an active role in these sessions by providing talks and demonstrations to the rest of the team.
You will be provided with everything that you require to effectively perform all of your duties and where appropriate the necessary training needed to use the equipment. You will receive computer equipment, clinic management system, couch, clinic consumables, uniform, marketing materials including business cards, brochures and posters.
- What we are looking for
We are looking for a therapist who has a degree in either Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy with some clinical experience. We would Ideally like the therapist to be certified in strength and conditioning and have an active interest in this area. We work very closely with the strength and conditioning team downstairs.
