Motion is Lotion – our new virtual class. Every Friday @9:30am (GMT)
This Friday we will be launching our first Injury Active virtual class aimed at getting as many of our Injury Active followers up and moving.
We continually shout from the hilltops about movement being our best form of medicine, so an all-inclusive virtual class makes total sense.
We have been hosting many workshops with our affiliated clubs throughout the last few years and this has helped shape the style of classes we want to introduce. With many of us being stuck in isolation, the lack of interaction and overall movement throughout the day can take its toll and we want to help.
We’ve had such great positive feedback over our virtual gym classes at Lift Off in regards to how it makes people feel, that we wanted to bring this to Injury Active, albeit in a different style.
Exercise has so many benefits and we are probably immobile more now than ever.
This 30-minute class will be going through lots of different movements designed to increase range of motion and control around common stiff locations, improve strength, increase blood flow and increase your heart rate.
A recipe for improving yourself as a physical human, improving your mental state and decreasing your chances of series illnesses.
What to expect
An active, engaging class coached by one of our Injury Active therapists who will take you through the entire class. We will be doing a lot of ground-based movements and holds.
Is it for you?
This class is for everyone. If you struggle with certain movements, then we can simplify.
Am I fit enough?
Again, we can simplify any movement. Work at your own capacity and take rest periods whenever you need.
