We like to encourage our clients to follow on from their injury treatment plan with a strength and conditioning cycle at our chosen facility. We do this because following an injury the muscles and tendons in particular will go through a deconditioning phase and it is therefore vital to recondition these tissues to improve performance and decrease reinjury risk.
Strength and conditioning provides the opportunity to maximise your physical qualities for your sport or activity. To this end, their primary objective is injury prevention, followed by performance enhancement. If you run, play a team sports or just want to play with your children, getting stronger and more conditioned will help this.
