Injury Active Clinic opening at Crossfit St Albans! JUNE 2016!
We are so pleased to announce that we will be opening a sports injury clinic at Crossfit St Albans as of June 13th. We have searched long and hard to find the right person for the job, and we believe we have the best candidate in Rob Lang. Rob will be there full time offering his services and with his love of Crossfit, will certainly be training just as much.
Rob will be offering a free consultation from the 13th June into the first week of July. He will also be holding a free open day on Saturday June 18th where you can have a chat with him about any existing problems such as injuries, pain or movement improvement.
If you would like to go ahead and pre book your free consultation with Rob, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Rob studied his Sports therapy degree at UCLAN where he graduated with a first class honours. He then took the opportunity into further education and studied a Sports Medicine Masters at Exeter University. During this time Rob managed to gain valuable experience by working closely with Preston North End First Team and Wharf dale Rugby Club in Yorkshire where he provided treatment and rehabilitation sessions for the first and second teams.
Shortly after graduating from Exeter Rob landed a sports therapy job in Cambridgeshire. He spent the next 3 and a half years here furthering his knowledge and skills in the working environment, becoming a senior therapist and the performance manager for the associated gym.
Robs hobbies consist of running and cycling (however this tends to be very weather dependant!), CrossFit and travelling as often as possible! Since starting CrossFit 3 years ago Rob has competed at the Rainhill trials in Manchester and has become a qualified Level 1 CrossFit Trainer and a CrossFit Mobility Trainer. He has spent the last year coaching part time at CrossFit A14 where he was also the gyms first choice therapist.
Going forwards Rob is keen on furthering his knowledge in body mechanics in regards to injury and performance.
