If you want to take your training seriously then s If you want to take your training seriously then structure is one of the most important things.

Especially so when struggling with pain or returning from an injury.

Our Active Training athletes log into their app to see their individualised programme for the day. This typically includes specific exercises to help target the injured area alongside exercise they can perform safely.

Hoping that rest will fix the problem is often very short sighted. Targeted exercises which help stimulate tendon recovery is a much more effective way.

For more info on how we can help with your training, get in touch.

Sometimes some TLC and massage therapy is all we need. Massage can help recovery and reduce pain by desensitising active trigger points which are often the source of the problem.

Our first goal is always to help improve motion around a joint, and massage therapy can help this by improving the condition of the muscles the work around the joint.

Sometimes relaxing, sometimes a little uncomfortable, but always satisfying.

Stretching of the hip flexors (demonstrated) can help in being able to access more hip extension, thus improving jump height and overall balance.
