Rehab
Done Properly

Pain settling is only half the job. Rehab is about building the strength and confidence to get back to what you love, and to keep doing it.

What We Offer

From injured to back in the game.

A lot of rehab stops as soon as the pain eases. The trouble is, you are often not yet as strong or as confident as you were before. That gap is where problems tend to come back.

Our rehab is structured and progressive, delivered through physiotherapy and sports therapy appointments. We find your starting point, then build load step by step, using simple measures so you can see your progress. This is Train With Pain in practice: some discomfort while you rebuild can be normal, and we'll show you how to tell the difference between hurt and harm.

When you're ready, you can carry on in our Strength & Conditioning classes or with a personal trainer at our Bishop's Stortford studio.

FAQs

Common questions about injury rehabilitation

How is rehab different from treatment?
Treatment often helps calm things down. Rehab builds you back up: strength, control and confidence for the things you need to do. Most people do best with both, in the right balance.
Is it normal for rehab exercises to hurt?
Some discomfort while you rebuild can be normal. A useful guide is how you feel the next day: if things settle within 24 hours, that's usually fine. If they're worse, we adjust the dose. We'll go through this with you.
How do I book rehab?
Book a physiotherapy or sports therapy appointment. Your clinician will assess you and build your rehab plan from there.
