Who We Are

Our
Story

Founded in the UK in 2013. Now 5 clinics and a strength studio across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Who We Are

Treating an injury is only half the job

Injury Active Clinic began in the UK in 2013 with a simple belief: people deserve more than short-term injury treatment.

Again and again, we saw people stuck in the same loop. Pain, treatment, temporary relief, then the same problem coming back. Most of them didn't lack motivation. The usual approach just stopped too early. The pain settled and treatment ended, but they weren't any stronger or more confident for the demands of real life.

That insight became the foundation of Injury Active.

Treating an injury is only half the job.

The other half is building the strength, resilience and movement quality to help stop it coming back.

That's why our physiotherapists, sports therapists and coaches work as one team. You can move from assessment and treatment into structured strength work, in our Strength & Conditioning classes at our Bishop's Stortford studio.

Today we have 5 clinics, in Cambridge, Bishop's Stortford, Saffron Walden, Sawston and Willingham, offering physiotherapy, sports therapy, sports massage and Clinical Pilates 1-2-1, along with our gym and corporate wellness.

We call it Train With Pain. The right dose of movement is part of recovery, and hurt doesn't always mean harm. We help you understand your body, recover properly and get back to the things you care about, whether that's sport, work, family or the gym.

In 2022 we took the same approach to Australia, opening our sister clinic in Melbourne. The two clinics share a name and a philosophy, and run as separate businesses.

Not just a clinic. Not just a gym. A place where treatment and training meet.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Integrity

We give honest, clear advice. If we think you need something we don't offer, like a GP review or a scan, we'll tell you.

Authenticity

Our team keeps learning and cares about you as a person, not just the injury in front of us or the class you are in.

Treatment + Training

We combine hands-on care with strength training and long-term habits, so progress keeps going after the pain settles.
