What We Offer

More than a rub down.

Sports massage at Injury Active is carried out by therapists who work with injuries every day. We'll ask about your training, your work and anything that's bothering you, then focus the session where it's most useful.

Many people find regular sports massage helps them feel looser, move more freely and stay on top of a busy training block. If we notice something that needs more than massage, we will tell you and suggest the right next step.

FAQs

Common questions about sports massage

Will a sports massage hurt?
It can feel firm, but it shouldn't be unbearable. You're in control of the pressure, so tell your therapist if you'd like it lighter or deeper.
Is sports massage only for athletes?
No. It suits anyone with tight or tired muscles, whether that comes from sport, the gym, a physical job or sitting at a desk.
How often should I have one?
That depends on your training and how your body responds. Some people come every few weeks during a busy block, others just when they need it. We can suggest a rhythm that suits you.
Massage or treatment: which should I book?
If you have a specific injury or pain you want assessed, book physiotherapy or sports therapy. If you mainly want to loosen off and recover, book a sports massage. Not sure? Get in touch and we'll point you the right way.
